The Potions Cica Calming Toner & Smooth Peeling Pad Review

 Hi Beauties, you might already know how much I love Centella asiatica (Cica). This is one of my favorites skincare Ingredient. Cica is known for its ability to calming acne, improve wound healing, soothes irritated skin, etc. 

 In this post I would like to introduce you to a Korean Skincare Brand, The Potions. The Potions is a smart, minimalist skincare line where only the best Ingredients are available in the purest forms. In the new skincare line from The Potions, there are two products that have Centella Asiatica as the star Ingredient. The Potions Cica Calming Toner and The Potions Cica Smooth Peeling Pad. 🌿 The Potions Cica Calming Facial Toner 🌿

 

 Packed in a 150ml sturdy bottle, this toner contains The Green Calming Complex (Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Madecassic Acid, Portulaca Oleracea Extract to soothe the skin. It also contains Trehalose from Cactus and Sodium Hyaluronate to provide deep hydration and moisture.

 The Potions Cica Calming Toner has a super light texture, watery consistency, and quickly absorbs into the skin without leaving a sticky feeling. It's fragrance free so it feels so comfortable when I applied it on my face. 

 I like to use this toner after I washed my face, it helps to retain moisture and makes my skin feel refreshed. For the hydration, one layer is not enough  for my dry skin, but you can put as many layers as you want since the texture is very light. This is a perfect toner to be used in summer!

 I also like to use this toner as a facial mask to soothe my pimples or whenever my skin irritated. I poured the toner to a thin cotton pad, and then I just put it on the irritated area for 10-15 minutes. And it does help to calm down the inflamed skin. 

Overall, it's a good hydrating toner 👌💚

🌿 The Potions Cica Smooth Peeling Pad 🌿

 This is a daily peeling pad with Centella Asiatica and PHA as the main ingredients to gently remove dead skin cells while maintaining moisture to the skin. It's an easy way to exfoliate the skin with less irritating pads. 

 The Potions Cica Smooth Peeling Pad has two sides, the embossed side to cleanse the dead skin cells, sebum, and impurities. Also the soft side to moisturize and hydrates the skin. Both sides of the pad are soft and didn't irritate my dry skin. 

 Same as the Cica Toner, this peeling pad contains The Green Complex to soothe irritated and sensitive skin, Trehalose and Sodium Hyaluronate for deep hydration. It also contains PHA which gently removes dead skin cells, impurities, and excessive sebum from pores, and Allantoin to help protect the skin from environmental stress and maintaining skin health. 

 I use this mild peeling pad three times a week in my PM routine. I really love the refreshing feeling after using this pad. It moisturizes and cleanse my skin at the same time! This peeling pad helps to improve my skin texture and make it feel soft and smooth. And not only gently exfoliating, it also supplies lots of hydration, leaving my skin looks brighter, clear and radiant.
